[afnog] SMTP Traffic Redirect

                    Arbogast,
Am trying here to redirect outgoing SMTP traffic from my LAN to my SMTP server that would have otherwise been sent to some of the internet's open SMTP relay servers, these could be spam or messages containing viruses. am trying to force everything through my SMTP server so that i can do some filtering. 
I don't understand how DNS can help here.
