hallo Muhirwa,
is this router your default gateway ? If yes are you able to go to the outside world (internet) ?
can you ping the IP of the Mail Exchanger you want to reach ?
if the answers above are yes ...then i guess you have not done completely or properly the emails redirection at the DNS....remember the redirections of email or mails handling setup starts at the DNS (it's a DNS record).
re-check if all is well set at DNS level.

Hello,
Using cisco router, I have been trying to redirect SMTP traffic from my LAN to an SMTP server where I have implemented spam and virus filters but so far haven't been successful. I couldn't use cisco's PBR to change the next hop since the smtp server is located on a different subnet two hops away from the router.
Please if there is anyone out there who know how to implement this, do help.
