What version of IOS are you running on this switch?

We have a 2950T in action somewhere with support for up to 250 
VLAN's. A 'sh vtp status' give me:

VTP Version                     : 2
Configuration Revision          : 16
Maximum VLANs supported locally : 250
Number of existing VLANs        : 15


You may just need an IOS upgrade.
