Thanks Brian. been at it almost the whole of last night, bringing down rule
of the routers and trying but still no avail. if it was a routing problem i
should not be able to send mail to them (**ideally). but the mails sent
from me and all others on this network get to them (**that i know for sure).
i have talked to italy and they insist that there are no restrictions
whatsoever on that network.

So probably you have an IP routing problem between your two sites (maybe

done test on pings traceroutes, dns response times, even ran squish.net on
it. used my own network and web based tools to try reach them, but all give
a -ve.

Or, perhaps mail.avsi.org has blackholed just your network :-)

good heavens i hope not :-(

Ah well, if it's not intentional, you should be able to sort it out between
> the two of you. I imagine they're not able to view your webpages, either.

last talk i had with them, they could not reach that gateway via ping or
return a +ve traceroute. nope, he never tried to reach any of my webpages

Thanks
Mike
