Hi All,
There is a conference known as "Real World Crypto" where many leading
security & cryptography engineers are present to discuss about
cryptography and cryptographic engineering in general.
The conference requires some kind of published work. The IETF focuses
on choosing established cryptographic tools and standardizing them.
However, cryptography is now used almost everywhere. The "S" in HTTPS.
The cyberstorm.mu team would be eager to see more team from African
countries being present at RWC to talk about their work on
Cryptography.
Students from University of Mauritius attended the RWC 2026 Conference
in Taipei due to their work on on TLS middleboxes in Mauritius. The
framework is developed in python and we welcome more extensive
deployment:

We welcome collaboration with African universities whose research
interest is around TLS, cryptography or implementation issues.
Kind regards,
