RE: Strange ISDN Problem

Sorry about the sketchy details.

It is as shown below

Cisco1751---NT1----ISDN network-----CiscoAS5300
        (BRI) (PRI)

So my router is the Cisco1751.So when i initiate a
data call from the cisco1751 (isdn call int bri0/0
xxxxxxxxxxx) the call is detected as an incomming
voice/speech call by the Cisco AS5300. Then when the
Cisco AS5300 tries to make a data call to me, it is
detected as an incomming speech/voice call.

I suspect one of the telco switches is dropping some
of the bearer information when switching the call, or
is setup to route all international isdn calls as
voice calls and hence does bother to check the bearer
capability requested.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks and regards
George Murage
