I recently got problems with a client who was spamming the rest of the
world. I would like to prevent this and yet I need to allow my network to
relay mail through the mail server.
My dilemma is this:
I would like to configure the mail server to ONLY relay mail if the
connecting client is FROM my network AND his domain is found in my
$relay_domains file.
All methods I've found so far do either one or the other. i.e if I list
both restritions, the first that matches is taken. How would I go about
ensuring that both are checked BEFORE relaying is allowed?
I am running postfix on FreeBSD 4.6-STABLE with the latest postfix port.
If this is not doable in postfix then how can I get it done with exim?
Noah.
