When everything is setup correctly, I would recommend you also setup an 
"outgoing" filtering system.

I've used Exim4 + Spamassassin to filter outgoing (LAN -> World) messages.

Malformed message (Outlook often malform messages), Spam-like messages 
will be blocked or frozen, but it's also a matter of user education. A 
lot of work.
