[afnog] upgrading UBUNTU servers

Hi Guys,

For the past few days I have not been able to upgrade my ubuntu servers 8.04 LTS and 10.04 LTS 

if i do apt-get update it starts and then hangs and times out.
If I do apt-get upgrade same thing it times out.

I have tried to change the servers in /etc/apt/sources.list but same thing it fails.

Any one with an idea?
