Hi all,

I think I am missing something here. I have setup my ntp.conf file on a
solaris 9 box to pick from some stratum 2 servers but after setting it up the
output of the date command gives me time that is 6 hours off my current time.
I have set the correct timezone and this behaviour is puzzling me. Contents
of /etc/default/init are:
TZ=Africa/Kampala
CMASK=022
LC_COLLATE=en_US.ISO8859-1
LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1
LC_MESSAGES=C
LC_MONETARY=en_US.ISO8859-1
LC_NUMERIC=en_US.ISO8859-1
LC_TIME=en_US.ISO8859-1

/etc/inet/ntp.conf

What do I do to get the date command to display the correct time with
timezone adjustments?
