Check your relay settings.
Is the domain "mydomain" listed in mydestination?
Is the domain "mydomain" listed in virtual_alias_domains?
Is the domain "mydomain" listed in virtual_mailbox_domains?
Is the domain "mydomain" listed in relay_domains?

If you havent answered yes to any of the above, then postfix won't
accept mail for "username at mydomain" from X at gmail.com
