[afnog] Help on setting up PPPoE server on FreeBSD

Incidentally, I remember getting userland pppoe working with FreeBSD as the 
server successfully with both linux and windows clients. This was with 4.x 
series FreeBSD about 3 years ago. I have been unable to dig up the config but 
what Brian described as per editing files in /etc/ppp is exactly what I did 
and it worked beautifully.

Please describe your setup once you follow his instructions, psot your 
configuration files and what you see in the logs and we can then be better 
able to help you troubleshoot.
