Incidentally, when reporting problems, it's very useful to be able to post
an exact transcript of a session - the commands you typed and the responses
you got back. The utility 'script' will do this. If you type:

    # script foo

then a new shell is started and all your session is recorded into file
"foo". Then typing 'exit' will terminate that shell and close the file.

You can then attach this to a mail, or copy and paste just the most relevant
parts.
