Hi Mike,

I read your comments on using "artificial intelligence".  I attended 
a local conference last week.  I interacted with some of the 
attendees; some of them were local, some of them were from other 
countries.  Several of the sessions had an "artificial intelligence" 
component.  It's not unusual given that people use "vibe coding" [1] 
for software development.

I didn't use ChatGPT to ask questions.  The persons did not use 
ChatGPT to respond to questions.  It would be visible if that was the 
case.  The answers would be wrong as those large language models 
(LLM) do not have access to local data.

Students usually attend local conferences as it is a good way to find 
a job.  If the students were using ChatGPT in an interaction, it 
would be a data point to assess whether their engineering 
capabilities matches what is being sought in the specific job 
market.  Nowadays, there are courses on the topic which are available
