In Europe, 75% of connectivity is inter-regional

In Africa, it's less than 1%

In all regions, except Africa, there is rapid growth to
inter-regional traffic.

International leased circuits cost lots of money.

Africa pays for the full cost of these international circuits.

This is in turn passed onto users - in some cases, 80% of the costs for 
users is due to the international connectivity components. See Section
