Oh, Randy, stop quibbling. Of course nobody takes that particular study
seriously... It presents its results in pictures of dimes, for god's
sake. I know I'm not qualified to pin a good number on the actual dollar
cost of the reverse-subsidy back to Europe and North America. But we can

...and know that _that_ packet crossed Port Louis the expensive way.
Every single one of those hops was paid for, and they were all paid for by
the guys on the ends, not the ones in the middle. Does it add up to
US$400M? The number doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Would I use it
myself? Not without some data to back it up. Am I running around trying
to collect that data? Yes.
What do you want in the mean-time? For nobody to complain about being
ripped off, until they can quantify it to the last cent?
