Take a look at Terabeam - www.terabeam.com.  They have gigabit radios
in the 60GHz range (unliscenced in the US).  I'm not sure about the cost,
but, in the same product line, the radio's that do OC3 are about $10k so
the gigabit ones probably aren't outrageous.
