linux redhat
hi bill
as a linux noob this machine/installation is giving me hell
it is a dell gx110 with ide hdd and 64MB RAM intel video chip now i get
errono 12 cannot allocate memory that is after changing the machine to
another dell gx110. that is after i have gone upot partitioning etc and just
when starting the package installation it bombs out!
when do i press alt-f4 as it seems to have no effect at all or even the
ctrl-alt-f2 does not seem to give anything other than prompts like /bin/25#
or similar
yes the signal 11 was coming due to faulty CDROM as I suspected
could this new error be due to hard disks as I was getting this first time
when i sent my sos to the list and it was yet another dell gx110 adn from
home a compaq deskpro2000 mmx
any ideas?
a colleague has this probem
running arcserve on winnt server with DLT drive the drive does not see the
DLT tapes, then the drive was changed still no tape is recognised by the
drive what could this be?
any ideas for this one?
