Hi all,
I need to be able to open a particular executable file via my browser, but when i try to open it by entering
http://www.mycompany.com/cgi-bin/theexecfile , it tries to download 'theexecfile.TXT' rather than opening up the page. I tried setting the stuff up under windows using IIS5.o and it did the same thing but when i set up IIS to run 'scripts and execuables' for the virtual directory, then it now opened the page. I wonder if there's a solution like this under Linux/Apache also cus i intend to run the program on Apache and not IIS.
Your comments and assistance will help.
regards
-fiao
