Re: Blocking MSN Messanger ports

MSN messenger (windows version) is able to use port 80 if necessary (for
example if port 1863 has been blocked by a firewall). So far the
solutions I've seen are:
o Denying access to gateway.messenger.hotmail.com at your firewall
o Editing the registry on the windows machine and changing the server
entry for MSN messenger to 0.0.0.0 or some bogus IP (on my machine the
registry key is (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MessengerService).
I guess the firewall option seems more appealing...
