Hi,
I have a Dell Latitude CPtS laptop with BIOS A15 running a dual boot RH
Linux 7.2 and Windows XP. My boot loader is grub. The laptop was working
fine but it had the usual Dell laptop problem with keyboard so I send it
for repair at Dell. It was returned with BIOS A14. It did seem to work
for at 5 days and suddenly started generating problems.
The most severe of which at the moment is the fact that the computer
just reboot itself automatically, after about 5 minutes regardless of
which operating system I am using. From time to time it will just freeze
the computer, lock the keyboard under unix. When that happens only the
on/off button works.
I have upgraded my bios to A15 again but the behaviour is still the same.
Anyone has seen this kind of problem?
rgds, a./
