CISCO 1721 with IOS 12.2 (4) YA configuration

Hi,

Someone can help me to resolv CISCO 1721 problem configuration? Please, see
below the problem :

I configure CISCO 1721 ( WIC 2A/S with IOS 12.2 (4)YA ) to dial out a remote
router CISCO 3240 and I notice that there are not a modem autoconfigure type
command in line configuration. So right now, the CISCO 1721 have a problem
to recognize an external modem I used (ZYXEL U-90E). In the same time, this
modem (ZYXEL U-90E)is recognized on CISCO 3240 which has the modem
autoconfigure type command.

I would like to know if there are others commands on IOS 12.2 4)YA or
another way that I can use to configure the modem on CISCO 1721.
