InfoDev Grant for Accra ccTLD workshop and ICANN Meeting

This is a reminder for the sponsorship offer available by the Worldbank's InfoDev program, to enable fellows to attend the ICANN Accra meeting 
from the 10 - 14 March 2002. 

The requirements as defined by InfoDev are:

1.  Fellows must originate from Africa, which means currently residing and working in an African country;
2.  Fellows should be active participants in ICANN who can contribute to the policy-making process and benefit from the training opportunities 
offered at the ICANN meetings, and who can similarly contribute to and benefit from the ccTLD meeting;
3.  Fellows should have a prominent ability to impact the Internet
development in Africa through her/his leadership and opportunity to share knowledge.

Fellows will be expected to attend both the African ccTLD workshop on 10 March and the ICANN meetings on 11-14 March. For details, see

to participants.

A few more detailed requirements for the selection of InfoDev iCSF fellows:

- Accepted expenditures are airfare (less than business class),
accommodation, and/or per diem (local transportation may be acceptable);
- The Fellows should not previously have been iCSF Fellows;
- Preferred Fellows are focal points in their communities; they are in a position to share knowledge gained with a larger community for immediate 
impact in their home country;
- To the extent that qualified candidates are available, there should be a gender balance between women and men among Fellows, and we expect 
you to actively solicit the participation of women.
- The focus should be on ccTLD managers, and those involved in ccTLD
administration.
