Re: sendmail-8.11.2-14
Didier,
2 Possible reasons:
1. IP Chains. What does ipchains -L report? Mail this to me privately.
2. Sendmail not configured to recieve mails: see below.
Check /etc/sendmail.cf
O DaemonPortOptions=port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1 Name=MTA
Addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Should be the IP address you have advertised to the
world. The default (sneaky) is 127.0.0.1. Change it, and your mails will
fly in.
You need to execute
/etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart
I tried
telnet cs-net.cd 25
It just hangs there! Traceroute cs-net.cd does trace to you. My
conclusion, it is more of IP chains, and of course, the SMTP daemon.
Good luck!
