Hi,
I have talked about this problem in the past but I am still unable to
figure out what could be causing the reboots.
I have configured several Proxy servers using FreeBSD 4.0 with
squid 2.3 and apache 1.3.12. They are all configured to do NAT
and firewall.
They have all been installed in different computers with different
network cards.
At first I thought it had something to do with squid but later
discovered that even removing squid the problem still happens.
Could this be a problem with NAT or firewall?
Many times when the machine reboots squid fails to load and as a
result all proxy services are down.
Does anyone have any ideas? I canīt find anything in the logs or
any core dumps.
Cheers,
Antonio Godinho
