Hi ,Brian,
We have configured the automatic dialing through
ip-up/if-down ppp0 .
Its working perfectly.
Now we have to move for squid for fine tunning .
Did u know from where I can rpm of "diald" This is the rpm which
looks the request of client to connect to internet.
i.e at present on proxy server modem is not
connected to internet & when a user wish to connect to internet through the
proxy server & he openes his browser then " diald " will sense it &
automatically connect to internet so that user can access to
internet.
