Topic2: Monitoring wireless connexion
I am using breezecom (http://www.breezecom.com)
technologies and I want to monitor from the web on one of my servers. The
equipments are SNMP supported. What I want is to manage the bandwidth to
allow me limit bandwidth and graph the data as said Sunday. I will test
either MRTG on it or ET/BWMGR .
Topic3: IP addresses
This is a big problem. My upstream ISP (the telco)
can not provide me the required IP space because in clear words they do
not know how to get more Ip addresses from C&W. And as said Brian they
do not allow us learn or tell them "how to proceed". They are enjoying
the benefits of "being connected".
As suggested by many of you, I am making a documentation
to my upstream to explain clearly our needs. In the meantime I am reading
the RIPE documentation "how to be an LIR (Local Internet Registry)?" .
If the telco did not answer me in short time I will look for IP addresses
from RIPE. Greet do you know if there is a policy from RIPE wich makes
African request considered with suppleness because our case is particular?
