freeBSD

hello everyone,
I have read all the answers to my question diligently and right now I am
going to try the following first:
I am going to try to run it without any network card and see if it works
fine if it does I will then put in one card and see if this is okay I will
then try a different second card i.e instead of two realteks I will trya
realtek and an ne2000.
If the first test fails then I will know that it is not the cards and
concetrate on other causes.
Meanwhile I have this other small thing I need help with. I would
like to restrict console login access to just a few accounts on my SuSE
linux server and my redhat box
but unlike Freebsd and slackware there is no /etc/login.access but I imagine
that this should be possible with PAM but I have failed to find documentation
on how to achieve this any suggestions? I lloked at /etc/pam.d/login but
all it has are lines referring to modules to use but nothing for
configuring such a thing as what I want.
