Thanks Malik,

I have an internet cable (rj45) that is the one that brings internet to my office, and my WAN port is ASDL.   LAN interface on the router is okey ( has 4 Ethernet ports) I want to access internet through my router and also access my local servers (cable ) which are connected on one switch.

let me try the options (VLAN) previously suggested with other mambers  then see if it works.

You should have PPOE details for the DSL port, these usually include username and password and virtual circuit number, your ISP can provide this for you, once received you should be able to set up a profile for internet on the router and see a default route pointing into your provider's cloud. Who is your service provider? Can you ping anything on the net or traceroute?n Just some thoughts that came to mind.

Hi,

Currently having a challenge,

I have a Cisco 800 series wireless router it has Four LAN ports and one ADSL port
I have configure the LAN (private IP) and connect (cable) to a switch (which connects to my local servers ).

I can access wireless LAN and and all my local servers and its working fine but cant go outside for the internet

The router has no fast Ethernet port that I could connect in order to get internet, it has
an ADSL connection type.

Kindly advice, what can i do to connect to the internet? cause the internet cable is RJ-45 and cant connect to RJ-11 (ADSL connection type)

Thanks
