From (my own) previous experience with this platform:

	- it doesn't scale very well beyond a certain amount of
 	  bandwidth processed.

	- it can only handle up to 1Gbps (maybe less); what do you

Platform-independent issues include the requirement to have 
this system at all edge points, otherwise it assumes the 
bulk of your traffic will forever be international, i.e., 
how do you police local/regional/on-net traffic?
