[afnog] Cisco 7204 VXR crashing and goes into reboot loop

I had 2 x 128Mbyte SIMMs and tried re-seating which did not help. I replaced
each of them with a spare and that did not help either. Finally I removed
both and slotted the spare only to make it one 128Mbyte SIMM in and it
worked!

Router is no longer rebooting(well, at least for abt 15mins). I did a single
reload and it is now up for about 5mins.

The only thing I can think as being faulty now is the second SIMM slot on
the NPE. Can that possibly cause the crashing?

Monitoring and stringent testing in progress now. Thanks guys for your
expert assistance, I will be report further progress soon.

regards,

Shepherd
