[afnog] Auto-response reply problem in Squirrelmail

Dear colleagues,

I have a problem with the reply option in auto-response.
Anybody who send a message to one of my user who has activated his auto-response  is receiving  a mail delivery error message like:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  pipe to |/usr/bin/vacation  user_name
    generated by user_name at aau.org
    local delivery failed

The forward option set by the user is working well and the user can send a receive using the webmail.

FYI 
-  I have recently moved my users to a new machine.
-  "User_name" is the user account on my system

Any help will be appreciated
