Hello all,

 Am having a problem with my Linux box, its not loading the GUI, it brings
error message below, I have done what it suggests me to do but still having
the same problem. The message it brings is attached below. i want to
reinstall a new box but i want to keep DNS settings, Please advise on all
the config files that i will need to backup and then restore on the new
installed box so  that i can keep ma old settings.

Secondly, when i do an update to a corrupted box, do i get to keep my
original settings that were configured on the old Box.?


please advise on wat i can do
