[afnog] FreeBSD 7.x install

Hi,

I'm trying to install FreeBSD on a new server:
Processor: Core2quad
4GB ddr3 memory
Intel p45 chipset

(Tried 7.1 i386 - worked but had memory errors and was unstable)

But I really want amd64 and I've tried every option I know:
7.2 DVD
7.2 Disc 1
7.1 Disc 1
All stop before the install process starts.

These are some of the final lines in the startup before it just stops:
> mounting root from ufs:/dev/md0
(particularly with 7.1)

> /stabd/sysinstall running as init on vty0
> GEOM_LABEL: Label ufsid/*** removed
(particularly with 7.2)

There is no IDE option on this M/B
Tried all sata ports for DVD
Setup RAID and tried with defaults

Very frustrating, any ideas welcomed please?
