Hi,

I'm running OpenSuSe 10.2 on a x86_64 platform. I've been trying to
figure out why my logrotate is not working and I've isolated the problem
down to crond. Whenever crond tries to run the logrotate script, I see
the following in /var/log/messages:

Nov 13 02:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron[10781]: PAM unable to
dlopen(/lib/security/pam_unix2.so)
Nov 13 02:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron[10781]: PAM [error:
/lib/security/pam_unix2.so: cannot open shared object file:
 No such file or directory]
Nov 13 02:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron[10781]: PAM adding faulty module:
/lib/security/pam_unix2.so
Nov 13 02:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron[10781]: PAM unable to
dlopen(/lib/security/pam_pwcheck.so)
Nov 13 02:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron[10781]: PAM [error:
/lib/security/pam_pwcheck.so: cannot open shared object fil
e: No such file or directory]
Nov 13 02:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron[10781]: PAM adding faulty module:
/lib/security/pam_pwcheck.so
Nov 13 02:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron[10780]: Module is unknown
Nov 13 02:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron[10781]: Module is unknown

The libraries in question are actually in /lib64/security. How can
reconfigure the PAM to include the correct path to the libraries?

Regards,

Tawanda
