there are two firmware that you should give a try....DDWRT (
http://www.dd-wrt.com) and STAROS (http://www.staros.com/). StarOS will cost
you about $30, DDWRT is free and very very very powerful. DDWRT avails you
a web interface from which you can do all this without loosing anything...
