[afnog] wireless router crash

hi

I'm having a wireless linksys wrt54gl router on which i installed openwrt OS
(with boot_wait activated) so as to separate LAN from WLAN on the br0
interface.
trying to do that resulted in no access to the router through the lan
interface, but access to the router through wireless.
I want now to erase the router's nvram, and reinstall the OS.
 Ping immediatly after powering the router replies for some seconds on lan (
surely the boot_wait period) but stops after even on trying to bypass the
nvram loading ( by pressing the reset 2 seconds immediatly after dmz light
on)
what do you suggest i do?
