Define the "capture device" to be the microphone:

* File > Open Capture Device>

* Click the "Refresh" button to refresh the device list and then select the 
appropriate audio device. Click on configure and select the microphone.

I guess that should do it.

Server : Icecast
Source Client : MuSe, Darkice, Ices etc (I have used MuSe and darkice) - runs 
on *NIX and most Linux distros.
