[afnog] Problem with MT-RJ fiber patch cords

Hallo Network Gurus,

we are facing a strange problem with MT-RJ to MT-RJ patch cord connection
in our network !

A thing is...we have catalyst 3550 as our distribution layer switch and
catalyst 2950 as our access layer switch. In both ends we are using
ST-MT-RJ patch cords. Lights are ON on both ends as well....but we can't
transmit..! But when we change patch cord on either end by using ST-SC
instead of ST-MTRJ...we can transmit !

Is any body out there ever faced the same problem and/or has an idea to
what could be the cause and the solution ?
