[afnog] Server Log on error

Hellos,

I have a windows2k server(service pack 4) that brings up the following
error message every time i try to logon on to it when its locked "The
system cannot log you on due to the following error. The Network request is
not supported. Please try again or consult your system administrator".I
have to shut it down manually so that i can log on after it has restarted.
what could be causing this ?
