Hi,

Distance in itself does not assist in the spec'ing of wireless
equipment you need to invest abit more in understanding the area and
the topoloty you want to cover. This is what you can do based on
experience, take a GPS devices, take the cordinates of the central
location note the elevation, then pick points along the area u want to
cover and bear in mind the altitude and azimuth ( the direction of the
central location vis-a-vis) the hub and come up with a map, with this
in mind you can now start shopping around for solutions.

Secondly with this kind of installation you'll hardly have an even
distribution of customers so mark out areas of where most of your
customers are likely to come from and factor this into your map.
Proper site survey is important and can make or break the product you
are trying to launch.
