Hie list,

I am trying to configure a Cisco AS5300 as a remote access server for
dial-up users. I have been through some documentation on the Cisco
website and I think I have the box configured correctly. But I am having
some problems with the box.

Firstly, it sometimes crashes and reboots. This happens seemingly
randomly, but there might be a pattern that I am not aware of. It gives
out the following crash dump, disconnects all active calls, then reboots:

Error: primary data cache, fields: data, SysAD
virtual addr 0x62DB7805, physical addr(21:3) 0x1B7800, vAddr(14:12) 0x3000

Secondly, the box has two MICA cards with 120 modems each, making a
total of 240 modems. It also has 8 E1 ports. With 6 E1 lines connected
to it, it does not seem to be able to handle more than 120 calls at a
time. I have MRTG monitoring the number of calls vs number of free
modems and it shows that the number of calls does not go over 120 (same
thing for number of PPP sessions active).

I have attached a configuration for the box and I am hoping that
somebody can help to identify any misconfiguration the box might have.

Any pointers and assistance are very welcome.

Kind regards,

Kondie Masiye
