Hi Ezra,

Only the default keepalives

No configuration of keepalives is done on this interface.

Thank you

Do you have keepalives set on that interface?

Hi All,

I have a Cisco 1751 running IOS c1700-k9o3sy7-mz.124-1.bin.

When we removed the cable from the interface and check the interface it
status still shows up.

I can ping the interface but not the device connected to it.

Has someone seen this problem before?

Before I shutdown the interface

Goast#sh ip int b

Interface IP-Address OK? Method Status

up

Loopback0 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx YES NVRAM up

Goast#sh run
