[afnog] Linux domain controller

Hello,

I would like to move my primary and secondary domain controllers from 
Windows 2000 Server  to Linux. This will also mean migrating the users  
from the old domain controllers to the new ones.
The network comprises of both Linux and windows machines.

Is there anyone out there who has done this before and can advise.  
Please advise also on any security issues to look out for.
