Managed to trouble shoot the problem was exim couldnotconnect with clamd this was due to the configs in ////"/usr/local/etc/clamd.conf" the path to the localsocket was "/var/run/clamav/clamd"yet in the exim config it was /temp/clamd. So Ichanged the configs in the "/usr/local/ect/clamd.conf"for the local socket to /temp/clamd.
