You need to change your pop3 server. qmail comes with one called
'qmail-pop3d' which is basic but adequate.

When you installed qmail, qmail-pop3d should have been built too. You'll
need to stop your existing pop3 server (e.g. comment it out from inetd.conf)
and put the incantantion to start qmail-pop3d in inetd.conf instead.

More advanced servers include courier-imap/sqwebmail which will give you
IMAP as well as POP3 access.
