[afnog] FreeBSD incomplete boot problem

I have had a similar issue with FreeBSD 4.8 before , this was due to some
daemons taking some time to start e.g squid, Postfix but if you happen to go
to another box and try to actually connect to say port 25 , you would find
the process is already running and the port is actually operational at that
point, so i usually assumed it was just a slight stall on the console screen
which needed you to hit the Ctrl-C combination for your own satisfaction that
all processes are up and running.
